The window frame and window are made out of 2"x2"x1/8" square tubing. All windows are exterior swing. The Hinges are on the outside and spring latches are on the inside. The sheet steel that will cover the window is the corrugated steel that came from the shipping container cut out.
The Exterior Staircase is constructed out of a C Channel frame. The structure will be connected to the container and secured to the ground. There are four landings two of the landings measure 4’x8’. The top landing is 4’x4’. The large landing is 6’x8’. All legs of the structure are created out of 2.5"x2.5"x1/4". The hand railing is created out of 1.5"x1.5"x1/8"

The split folding floor is encased between the boxes with 6"x1/4" flat bar. The floor frame and hinging floor is created with 2"x2"x3/16" tubing. The Folding floor when in the horizontal position will act as a floor but in the vertical position will act as a hand railing/ knee wall to allow smoke to flow from beneath levels upwards. When in the horizontal position the walls will be sitting inside of a 2"x3"x3/16" angle iron frame.
The door frame is made out of 2"x3"x3/16" square tubing. The door is created out of 2"x2"x1/4" tubing. The door casing is spring loaded to allow give so firefighters can practice forcing a door. All exterior doors are exterior swing. The Hinges are on the outside and spring latches are on the inside but accessible from both sides. The sheet steel that will cover the door is 48"x96"x 14G.
The railing is 36” tall from top of structure. The railing is made of 1-1/2"x1-1/2"x14g. The railing is designed to fold down. The railing will hinge on a 1/2” bolt. The railing will pin with a 1/2 pin on both legs. The railing will be attached to the structure with 2"x3"x3/16" angle iron.
The roof rigging structure will be created out of 4"x4"x1/4"tubing. At all joints gust plats will be attached that are made out of 4"x1/4"flat bar. On one side of the structure there will be a 8’ piece of railing that will be removable to have access to the side roof access. The rigging structure will be attached to the structure with 6"x 1/4" flat bar gusset plates.
